Poplar Point is an approximately 101-acre parcel on the east side of the Anacostia River that is owned by the United States and administered by the National Park Service through National Capital Parks — East.
The site currently houses several NPS facilities:
US Park Police Anacostia Operations Facility
US Park Police Aviation Unit
Headquarters of National Capital Parks — East.
