Poplar Point Plan

The District of Columbia Government (District) and the National Park Service (NPS) announced the launch of the Poplar Point Plan - a process that will guide redevelopment of 110-acres along the east side of the Anacostia River in Ward 8. Currently, the area features a mix of accessible open space, wetlands and natural areas, abandoned remains of former greenhouses and other government facilities, as well as NPS's current administrative and law enforcement facilities.
